Review of Tremors (1990) by Joe A — 24 Jul 2009
First saw this at a test screening weeks before it actually opened and it was a very pleasant surprise. Upon revisiting it, it is still a very entertaining horror/comedy that successfully blends the laughs and chills.
Add perfect performances by the cast, including Fred Ward and Kevin Bacon as the hayseed, handymen heros and Michael Gross and Reba McEntire as a survivalist couple, and a director who obviously loves movies and you have a great flick for a lazy Saturday night.
Makes a good double feature with the more recent but similar" Slither".
