Review of Tremors (1990) by Ken T — 06 Oct 2010
Tremors is a great example of a horror comedy. It has seemingly kept up its popularity over the years. The story is about two blue collar joker types (played terrifically by Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward) in a dead end desert town.
A pretty (yet still believable) seismologist has recently come to the area studying "tremors". Also, some people have been mysteriously dying or disappearing. Could there be something underground? Great humour and some very good scares make this film as memorable as it has become - not to mention two great over-the-top performances by Reba McEntyre and Michael Gross.
