I had a lot of fun watching the first installment of "Tremors". It's a B-movie but never resorts to cheap potty humor, more dark humor than any other type. Its got a few good scares and the pacing keeps it from ever having a dull moment.
The acting is good, particularly Kevin Bacon performance. The special effects keep the film alive because they look just good enough to trick you to believe there are really big worms on the screen attacking people.
"Tremors" packs in a lot of scares, thrills, and humor into this homage to 1950's B-movies but keeps itself in check so the film never feels like a waste of time.
