I was going to say this is such a great classic 80's monster/survival movie but apparently it was made in 1990. Close enough.
If you haven't seen this, do your eyeballs a favor and watch it. This was on cable last week and I watched it from beginning to end for the first time since I'd seen it on VHS in the 90's and forgot how much I loved it!
It has the classic 80's vibe, it's funnier than it is scary, and it's a classic survival movie at the same time. It keeps the whole "how are they gonna get out of this one" feeling going throughout. Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward are awesome!
If you want to have a mindless good time with a movie, watch Tremors!
