Review of TransSiberian (2008) by Morten S — 09 Dec 2010
I started watching this movie thinking I wanted to ride the Transsiberian in my lifetime. By the end, I still want to, but would do so bearing in mind the stereotypical Soviet themes such as gangsters, smugglers, corruption etc.
A couple of parts from the story I wish they'd have explored further, like the fellow who had been in the gulag for writing poetry-and other parts didn't seem to add.
It was captivating and intriguing and I'm even planning to watch this again for the parts I may have missed.
