Review of TransSiberian (2008) by Alex G — 25 Feb 2010
A fantastic, very underrated film of 2008, Transsiberian has plenty well homaged shades of Hitchcockian elements into its clever, twisting script and its desolate, Russian backdrop is a fantastic added bonus.
Emily Mortimer gives a frightfully terrifying performance as a woman in trouble, as the plot takes turn after turn; starting as one film and ending as a completely different one. Transsiberian is a film simply for movie lovers in general as the soundtrack is eerily ominous, the suspense is biting and the tension is more than palpable.
