Review of TransSiberian (2008) by Sonny B — 18 Mar 2009
Great performances from Emily Mortimer and Ben Kingsley. As far as "Hitchcockian" goes, the movie doesn't have the same feeling but Anderson brings it to a different place successfully. Decent follow up to his amazing "Machinist," this film shows us that Anderson has the thriller down, and will always deliver.
Hopefully we won't have to wait another four years for another entertaining movie of his. Although all around I enjoyed the movie, it did lose my interest at times, seeming to move away from the plot, although the episodic features did have nice sub-plots as well.
Great directing and acting, but the pace needed a pick me up.
