Review of Transporter 2 (2005) by James W — 17 Nov 2013

Not nearly as good as the first one. Where the first one had the right mix of action and story, this one just goes balls to the wall crank it to 11 action with a story that is pretty bad and character development is non-existent.

But this is a Stathem movie so that's about par for the course. He is in charge of babysitting a boy for a family who gets kidnapped and infected and he is in a race to get the cure. There's not much more story beyond that.

There are some great action scenes, but too many CGI ones and those stick out really bad. The stuff that is actually done is neat and fun. So a fun movie, with not much going on beyond the surface, but great action.
