Review of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) by Jason E — 19 Jul 2014

Good, creative, mind-blowing thought provoking fun with some cheeky antics that only adds to the experience. A darn good movie. Certainly not great, but quite good. There were some childish parts that made the movie more fun and goofy like a lot of the swirling commandeering 2013 screwball action/comedies.

A start to the "era of movies" that entertains someone like me the most! We are very lucky to live in the 2009-2014 5 years of insane movie creativity, and this was a worthy entry to a new era of movie brilliance, that simply wasn't there in 2005 and 2007.

There was a spurt of artistic movie creativity the past 5 years that was simply better than any other era before it (every older historical era had its moments - Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Pitch Black, Hulk, Elf) but I simply must bow down to the past five years of moviemaking.

People are going nutty with making amazing movies, especially in the past 5 years... and it has been like nothing I have ever seen, including this movie... was like nothing I have ever seen. Wow!!! the bar has been raised now, and it keeps getting higher.
