Review of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) by Jordan P — 29 Nov 2018
It bothers me that is is by far my least favorite Transformers film, and I still can't bring myself to technically dislike it. There are so many plot holes, and actually annoying sequences throughout the film that it almost isn't entertaining.
In fact, most of the last half hour is garbage, but the rest of the film kind of made up for that with entertainment. Every scene with Ramon Rodriguez is like pulling your teeth, and the same can be said for any scene with the twins, but otherwise, it's an entertaining and relaxing movie to watch.
In fact it was so relaxing that I was having no trouble falling asleep to it. I know that means it's bad, but this time at least, I can't rate it lower than a 3. It's probably more of a 2 and a half on a day when I'm not in the mood for it.
My previous review was also a 3 though. in fact, this is what I said, "This movie was okay, but tons of it was idiotic! What was the point of putting Sideswipe in the movie or Jolt either, except to promote Chevy's cars? What was with sticking innuendo into every scene either? It's like the writers couldn't think of anything else to do, so they just made sex jokes to fill screen time, and they weren't even funny.
Really ruined the possibilities of what could have been a great movie.".
