Very entertaining, but not for kids!
I enjoyed the first installment and was hoping to like this one as much. It is above average, but not amazing. On a side note, I don't really like how these movies were marketed to kids. It's pretty mature.
As an 80's child, I adored the Transformers. These movies bring back that nostalgia if you watch and listen carefully. The effects and visuals are mesmerizing. I love the look of this movie. It's almost too much to follow. It is a pretty good movie, especially for fans. But, there is just something lacking in this story that made the first one special.
It's still worth a watch if you are into sci-fi action with 80's roots.
