Review of Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) by Seraphina R — 03 Mar 2015
I LOVE THIS MOVIE. But it's probably due to the last 40 minutes of the movie. Does that mean they could have cut out 2 hours of it:? Probably. Mark Wahlberg was the only thing that made the length tolerable, but others may not agree with that.
I don't mean in terms of acting, people - get real. Stanley Tucci was hilarious in his role, but this is also at the end. The first two hours consists of the introduction to some new humans, consisting of Mark Wahlberg, his skinny blonde non-appreciative daughter and her Irish lucky charm boyfriend.
Optimus Prime is found by the dad and the government comes swooping in to try and kill him. They all flee and meet up with the Autobots. The storyline is decent, but just too lengthy. Although I'll admit I saw it twice in the theaters - just for the last 30-40 minutes of it.
I mean, GRIMLOCK and the DINOBOTS - common now.
