Review of Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) by Andy E — 10 Apr 2015
I didn't hate this one as much as the others, but it's still poor and with a run time of nearly 3 hours I'm glad I could watch it in chunks at home rather than trying to get through it at the cinema.
I made the mistake of trying that with the third one in a movie theatre and left less than half way through as it was so boring. The concept is still mixed up. It's based on a range of kids toys and is hugely immature, even by Hollywood standards.
In contrast though, Michael Bay still throws in F-bomb swearing and his perverted love of T&A shots, this time aimed, seedily, at the 17-year-old lead character. It's hard to figure out exactly who it's for.
