Review of Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) by Don S — 07 Oct 2016

Wasn't certain I'd care for this without Sam Witwicky being involved in the story. Found out it didn't matter. As a Bay fan, I enjoyed the over-the-top special effects and the all-out action sequences.

Wasn't keen on the nearly three hour run time though. Wahlberg's Cade Yeager character is likeable enough in a neanderthal-ish way. The entire subplot with the daughter's boyfriend got on my nerves quickly.

If you've seen any of the previous three, you know what this is. You'll either like it or hate based on that.
