Review of Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) by Christopher E — 21 Jun 2017
If you want a great plot, superb script, character depth deeper than an olympic swimming pool.. you need not apply. This film is loud, full of computer generated effects, packed with end of the world cliches, and about giant alien robots for god sake.
However, if you can leave your brain behind for 2hrs 40 mins then you'll have a wail of a time; Wahlberg is as watchable as ever, and the action sequences are genuinely entertaining; the script however.
. is terrible. Take it for what it is, a big blockbuster about fighting robots.
