Transformers: Age of Extinction is every bit of a 'Transformers' movie; heavy loads of great, ground-breaking special effects, inane dialogue, twisty plots that try to disguise its overblown length. However, just like the third film, it's a film that knows what it is and let's everyone know what they're getting themselves into. With that said, I quite enjoyed myself at home watching this film. It wasn't anything award-worthy besides that it's pure good fast-food entertainment. The action sequences have 20 different climaxes, one in particular is the scene involving a giant ship pulling up all metals (boats, busses, cars, knives) by force, to see if it could find the 'seed' , and dropping it back into the civilians below. It's one of the many sequences that explains why I like to see these films (another sequence is in 'Dark of the Moon' in which a snake-like decepticon starts wrapping itself on to the Chrysler building and smashing it's support causing the building and everyone inside to fall over. For those who are afraid of heights, beware of sweaty palms and feet.).

In the end, it is a Michael Bay film and nothing more. Enjoy it, it was well worth the price.
