The Transformer films are a big guilty pleasure of mine and this film is also just the same. It's predecessor was also watchable, mainly because of it's better robotic character storyline, but it was difficult bearing the bad onscreen human characters. Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley apparently had no chemistry together and both were annoying. Replacing the human cast did a lot of good to this film. Mark Wahlberg is really great here and he actually substitutes for both LaBeouf and the other military characters in the film. Another fine cast member is Stanley Tucci whose coming timing and acting are really good. The female actors in this film are both attractive and stunning. The film doesn't lag as much as it's predecessor and it's visual effects are outstanding.
