Conceptually brilliant but fails in the execution. It fails to clearly raise the deepest philosophical arguments that are at the base of the story. The story also moves too slowly for a movie of this genre.

That said, and despite the ridiculous and unpardonable gaps on the technology parts of the tale, the movie is watchable for a variety of reasons including the story, its implications and some good scenes.
