Review of Transcendence (2014) by Stifler W — 28 Jan 2015
A plodding and overly long sci-fi tale about artificial intelligence. Cribs equally from 2001, NBC's Revolution, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and even Superman III. When it should be tense and scary, it's just dull and inert.
A waste of a top-notch cast. The directorial debut of ace cinematographer Wally Pfister (Dark Knight, Inception).
