Review of Transamerica (2005) by Ryan R — 06 Aug 2009
It is surprising, somehow, that this is set in the US. It does not get full marks from me because if this was to be a faithful representation of the prejudice on people with a sexuality different from the statistical majority, it depicts a scene which is too good to be true.
It is otherwise well acted and rides the metaphor of the coast-to-coast journey very well.
