An independent movie that is now a classic..Never seen before and already 8 years old this movie is a true labor of love..The story is about BREE a male transsexual going through his ultimate sex operation to become a woman. For some not a simple character to relate too..
However the movie is funny, warm but does not make fun of transsexuals nor makes any comment about it..its more a movie about the otherness, family, love, transformation and acceptance.
Your preconceptions and somehow curiosity will be transformed into empathy and identification through the wry character of Bree marvellously acted out by Felicity Huffman.
A truly remarkable, courageous and simply generous movie.
