Review of Transamerica (2005) by Katherine P — 20 Aug 2011
It's a road-trip movie with an interesting twist. Huffman's performance paired with Tucker's clever script make this unconventional movie an often funny but mostly touching exploration of identity, family and gender politics.
Transamerica offers a very sensitive portrayal of people who are so often stereotyped and misunderstood. This is a very special film.
