Review of Trance (2013) by Brandy H — 22 Aug 2013
I was worried at the start because I had this weird feeling it was going to turn into something like Crank, some fast-paced, hard to follow mess. Well, I was a bit right. However, I enjoyed the movie for it's unique quality from the story to the directing.
I found myself constantly having problems following the film and never understood what was really happening until it is explained in a pretty good detail closer to the ending. It started to make more sense and I could appreciate it a little more.
I did have a hard time connecting or caring about the main characters but you will be left wondering which one you really liked the most. If you cannot devote every single second of your time to the 1 hour and 40 minutes of this movie, you will be completely lost with no possibility of recovery unless you restart it from the beginning.
