Review of Trance (2013) by Katy W — 29 Jul 2013
A solid psychological thriller. A bit strange in the beginning and maybe even hard to follow for some but if you stick with the flick and pay close attention to every little detail, everything will make perfect sense in the end.
The flick is directed by Danny Boyle who is the man behind such films like Slumdog Millionare, 127 Hours, and Trainspotting. His films have a certain stylish flair and this one is no different by the way is looks but it is a completely different kind of film for him and that's a good thing.
The whole cast is great especially James McAvoy who really shines in this because he doesn't do flicks like this. Like, deep psychological films.
So, in the end, I really did enjoy this film and loved the shocking climax of the film. It's definitely worth watching.
