Review of Traitor (2008) by Donovan S — 26 Sep 2009
It was okay. Traitor, a film I think is inappropriately named, seems shallow. Americans are fighting a war against terrorists, who in turn are fighting Americans. One bases their cause on a do-gooder perception of themselves, while the other bases their cause on god knows what, and they use religion as a loop hole for everything.
The film didn't do much to capture my attention. I also think it lacks originality. What can you expect though, when it is based off of an idea from Steve Martin? Don Cheadle was excellent, but it just wasn't enough for me.
