Review of Trainwreck (2015) by Adam P — 30 Dec 2015
Like all Judd Apatow films, it starts off funny and then drags for the next hour and a half. Amy Schumer is funny and her script is honest and blunt about relationships and love. I just wish the movie moved along faster. There were too many scenes that went nowhere and the laughs were far and few between. Had this been advertised as a comedy-drama, then I probably would have felt differently about it. Surprisingly, the two sports stars LeBron James and John Cena get the biggest laughs.
Grade: B.
