Yet again another movie I'm surprised I forgot to rate. Ugg, where to begin? Well let's just say that Danny Boyle's "Trainspotting" is far more terrifying that any would-be horror flick could ever hope to be.
This is a surreal and brutal film detailing the horrors of addiction and is far more effective than any don't do drugs kids video. I'm serious, if you see this movie, then you won't even think about touching drugs.
The movie respects this and doesn't censored the depravity. It's all honest and really gets it. "I just want to try it," is what'll you'll say, and then you'll end up like this.
Visually sleek and depressing, Trainspotting is what I feel is one of the best examples of Danny Boyle's visual directing skills. It's an important film and if you haven't seen it I urge you to.
