Review of Trainspotting (1996) by John B — 29 Dec 2013
An excellent film about the lowest of the low. Heroin addicts in Scotland, who are self-aware of their social status, and in some characters -- virtually apathetic to it. Stuck in an endless cycle of drug addiction, they'll go measures that are normally considered horrifying to get a fix.
It stars Mark Renton, and in this film we see his friends, his adventures, his slaps, and his attempt to get up off his stomach from his slump.
