Review of Trainspotting (1996) by Matthew H — 08 Mar 2014
Trainspotting is hard to watch, raw, and in your face, in the best way. The movie is so true to the life of heroin addicts and how they "function" in society (or as Renton says, he doesn't actually live in a society).
This is one of Ewan McGregor's best performances, and one of Danny Boyle's best movies.
