Review of Trainspotting (1996) by Todd A — 08 Aug 2011
Trainspotting, is the story of a bunch of junkie friends who do nothing but have sex and do drugs. When one of them named Mark (Ewan McGregor) tries to stay away from drugs because of what it's doing to his life.
Don't let the jokes at the beginning fool you, this is a really sad and depressing movie. And it really shows the struggles of a drug addict. Mind you, I have never taken or gotten addicted to drugs.
But I have heard of people that have had drug addiction, and it's hard to stop. Trainspotting is one of those movies that I may never watch again because of it's tradgicness and disturbing imagery.
But I did think that it was a well done movie.
