See this movie for Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke. They make a good team on screen - even when it's Washington being looney and Hawke just being scared or confused or both. There are times you agree with Washington's character but most of the time you're just looking at just how crazy he can get in whatever he thinks he's doing.
