Review of Training Day (2001) by Xgary X — 16 Apr 2012
It was an amazing film with one of those dynamic characters that seems to punch you in the throat every time he speaks. I loved it! Denzel was amazing but let us not forget that the character is only as good as his lines. David Ayer deserves just as much glory for writing such impacting dialogue sequences.
I'd give it a 9-10 only because the plot seemed just a tad out of focus at times.
An excellent movie and a must see, you might wanna cuff your kid's ears though ;].
