Denzel Washington's performance in this film is quiet simply amazing and deserves the praise that it receives. Denzel plays a Nark that is sent to train a rookie to join his team the rookie played by Ethan Hawke is sent on a first day that will rocks his socks as he is set up, beat down and nearly killed by denzels cruel corruptness and he cant bare to watch it. Leading through twists and turns this is a story of a man that abuses his power as a police officer to severely get ahead of everyone else and he takes the rookie with him by framing and attempting to kill him. Brilliant performances by all and a great watch.
