Review of Train to Busan (2016) by Scienceadvisor — 16 Dec 2016
Standard Zombie movie tropes mixed with some good performances, and a lot of magic. Zombies can fall an infite distance without breaking bones, immediately levitate to a standing positon upon reanimation (not a kip-up), and sprint at full cheeta speeds forever regardless of footwear and ground composition.
The power creep is somewhat met by a silly mechanic, as apparently all you need to do is hide under a cover to survive this z-outbreak. Too bad the writers did not actually figure that out or this would have been a lot more interesting.
