Among the most entertaining and funniest flicks of the festive season, as well as one of the most loved of the kind, Trading Places is a film about a top broker and a streetwise hustler whose lives are traded for the sake of a bet shared by two multi-billionaire brokers.

Great gags and memorable one liners work perfectly well in a film that also has a pretty intelligent and original storyline which in fact seems to draw inspiration and even update the classic screwball comedies from the thirties and forties.

Fun peroformances by the cast and the usual solid direction of John Landis complete the picture of a very funny and lively comedy.
