Review of Toys (1966) by Adam R — 02 Mar 2014
This film is visually stunning, and Joan Cusak is absolutely perfect but that's all I can say good about it. Maybe I was distracted, appalled at how poor an actor LL Cool J is. Or maybe I missed the nuances and implied symbolism waiting for a plot to come along.
Maybe I should see it again and give it a fair shake, but I'm not in any hurry.
