I don't understand the glowing reviews for this installment in a franchise that was, until this one, beautiful and amazing. The jokes fell flat. The plot was a mess. They kept introducing new characters when they didn't know what else to do.
The idea of a kid making a toy that becomes sentient is FANTASTIC, and they did nothing with it. The only thing that works for me here is the technical beauty of the thing but I really wish they'd stopped after Toy Story 3.
This one seems to have been inspired more by making money than anything else. Skip this one, even when it comes out on streaming services.
