An intense and all too frighteningly real with parallels to what has happened in recent years in American schools, Toy Soldiers succeeds because it could have been a PG-13 movie about kids fighting terrorists and no one dies, instead we're treated to 110 minutes of bare knuckle moments, "is he gonna die" questions and intense action sequences.
