Review of Towelhead (2008) by Natalie P — 31 Dec 2008
It wasn't as disturbing as I thought it was going to be. It was a lot like the book and everyone gave a superb performance. It's ashame that there's no Golden Globe nominations for this film.
Aaron Eckhart was amazing and Summer Bischil was fantastic. Not to mention Peter Macdissi. He was compelling. If you don't deal well with physical relationships between adults and teenagers, don't watch it.
There's one part where you feel like you're on the edge of your seat and you can't move because your hands are gripping onto the arms of the chair. Amazing movie and the ending was better than the ending in the book.
