Review of Towelhead (2008) by Myles H — 16 Feb 2009
Interesting little character study set during the Gulf War as a young girl of Lebanese descent comes of age surrounded by racist neighbors and a distant father.
Alan Ball constructs another dark side of suburbia tale with mots of gray areas that still manages to have darkly humorous moments.
Recommended.
