Review of Towelhead (2008) by Amie S — 24 Feb 2009

I'm still not sure how I feel about this. One the one hand, I wish the characters were a little more multi-dimensional (as in, everyone's an asshole, excepting, like 2 people). On the other hand, I can absolutely see how this exact situation could happen.

Summer Bishil was amazing as a girl in way over her head - I'd be lying if I didn't see some truth in it. Still, I feel like it was missing something to really nail the "real-ness" of the story.
