Review of Towelhead (2008) by Cassandra M — 18 Jul 2009
As a former 13 year old girl, I thought this movie brilliantly captured the sexual confusion of a 13 year old girl; the characters and dialogue were smart and well depicted; the acting extremely good, the cast well-chosen.
I think most of the negative reviews were due to discomfort with the subject material. But if you've been through some of those things, you get it, and I really appreciated the film.
