Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Adam L — 12 Jan 2008
The opening shot alone is worth the price of admission (or rental). The whole dark narrative brilliant (once you get past the idea that Charlton Heston is a Mexican). Too bad Orson Welles never got to use Hollywoods big toybox again, as he could have done wonders.
