It's said to be the last Film Noir. Well I say the Film Noir Era ended with a blast! What a great movie! That's already obvious in the openingsequence (5 min long take!). Welles catches perfectly the gritty mood and tension of an American-Mexican bordertown.
For me this is his best movie! A must see.
