No, that quote was not at all taken from this movie, but rather a broken down, drunken Welles. As sad as it is, I could not stop laughing for a while seeing Welles look like 350 pounds in this movie grumbling some of his lines. I mean, what happened to you, YOU WERE THE FUCKING THIRD MAN! Anyways, he is perfect in his role as Qunilan with one of the most badass entrances on film. You can see this character in Welles, both trying to do the best they can but not actually living up to those expectations. Aside from the opening tracking shot this movie actually features many scenes that go on without cuts, perfect for such a cluttered plot which I am sure Welles intended. Fantastic lighting, using strobe lights well before Michael Bay raped them. Though I have seen corrupt crime thrillers like this before, the take of it being on the border of the U.S. and America definitely gives a unique vibe. The 48 hour time constraints of the story also adds uniqueness in its urgency. Welles legacy is kind of a sad one, but he remains a badass for making such a different movie and not giving a shit what people think.
