Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Brandon R — 05 Apr 2009
I wouldn't say it's a fantastic film but definitely worth watching. The acting was a bit over the top and some characters not believable enough. The camera work was brilliant though. An interesting movie to watch that's for sure despite taking a while to get into the story.
It had the slight feel of a B movie but this may have been on purpose? Nevertherless, it's the work of a director who knew how to shot some of the most exciting and captivating camera angles in cinema; and they are all here.
