Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Michelle S — 02 Dec 2009
A cinematic triumph. I watched the re-cut film that is said to be more like the original cut he sent to the studio. But then was later cut more to the studios likings. The opening shot is one of the most amazing shots Ive ever seen put on film (You'll have to watch it to know what I mean).
Orson Welles is such a genius. This is one of the greatest films of all time.
