With Citizen Kane Orson changed cinematography forever. Flaunting camera angles and lenses and using the darkness to show more. But that's all it was... just showing off. In Touch of Evil he showed us how it all can be used practically.

I liked this one better, nothing was uneccessary as it all had purpose. To advance a story, character, hell even the movie itself. I understand a little more today why Orson is held in the highest regard.
