Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Martin B — 26 Jul 2011
This movie really shows you how corrupt police used to be back then when they couldn't find evidence, or were just too lazy to. After watching this movie, I now love Orson Wells. He was so believable, and his looks really did match my image of a souse cop.
Now Charlton Heston is a great actor, but his character was a little far-fetched in this movie. He may be able to play many other things, but a Mexican man isn't one of those.
