Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Ilsa L — 20 Dec 2013
I've just finished watching the version of this movie that has been restored as close to Orson Welles' original editing as possible. I certainly enjoyed it more than the version distributed by Universal Studios.
Splendid noir with brilliant cinematography. The symbolism in the final scenes is nicely understated and yet impossible to ignore.
